N400 application for spouse

Hello forum members, 

Both me and my wife applied for N 400 in March 2022. We weren’t sure and also didn’t even think that we could apply together as husband and wife. We both applied separately on the same day using online application. 
 

To my surprise, I already got interview date within three months of application while my wife’s N 400 is still pending. 
 

Do I go alone for my interview and my wife wait for her own process? Could we have applied together as husband/wife, a joint application? Can I call USCIS and try to get interview together??

Yes, you go alone. Each person's naturalization application is separate and independent. There is no such thing as a joint application.
