Getting fired from Job, I140 and I485 filed concurrently, not approved yet. What are my options?

Hi there,
I hope everyone here is in a better place than I am.
I am in a very tricky situation and i need all the help and support that i can get.
I filed concurrently for I-140 and I485 along with EAD and AP under EB1 category.
I believe, I will be fired in next one month. My employer has agreed to not withdraw my I-140 petition.
Since I have filed for AOS under I485, my understanding is that I can stay in US till I know the final verdict of my filing.
I am still awaiting my EAD. 
Given my situation above - I have the following questions
1. Can I stay in US if my I-140 is not withdrawn and wait for my GC? 
2. Can I look for a job if I get my EAD card right away? or Do i have to wait for 180 days for AC21 to kickin before i look for a job? I understand that the job that I will be looking out for has to be of similar nature. 
3. My spouse has an L2S status, and she is working. Can she continue working in the organization where she is right now? or does me getting fired voids her status as well and she will be ineligible for a job now next couple of weeks? Her I-94 is valid for couple of more years.
