i140q Posted July 7, 2022 Report Share Posted July 7, 2022 Hello, I have a question on if minor differences between text on ETA 9089 and actual transcript can be reasons for I-140 denial? For example, on the approved ETA 9089 if the major of study is written as Electrical and communications engineering, but on the actual university transcript the major is listed only as electrical engineer (there is no 'and' part), can it be a cause for I-140 denial? Or is a minor type like this ignored, especially if on the transcript there are courses for communications engineering. Thank you. Requirements for job description state only electrical engineering.
