H1B picked up but laid off

Hi

My wife got her H1B lottery picked up in March 2022 and her visa was also approved via premium processing. But her company is laying her off. I wanted to know options going forward:

1. Will her visa be revoked once she is laid off?

2. Is there any grace period after she loses her job?

3. Can we get a new employer and file a change of status?

4. What are the options going forward?

Your spouse may currently be on H4-EAD since she is working.  H1b lottery employment start date is from October 01, 2022.  Find another employer and see if will help with the situation.  Good Luck.
