Title change with approved EB2 I140 and it's impact to filing I485 with current PD

Hi,

I have Approved I140 in EB2 category with PD March 2015.  July 2022 bulletin Filing Action PD is 1 Dec 2014. Prediction is that next 2-3 months FAD could reach 1 March 2015.  But meanwhile I got promoted and the title changed to manager role (from individual contributor role) with 80% roles and responsibilities remain same as individual contributor. The immigration lawyer at work suggested to file H1B amendment and new PERM and I140 but it could potentially take another 2years with PWD certification, and PERM process. so the question is, will I be able to use my current I140 if the FAD date reaches 1 March 2015 or do I need to wait for new  the I140 to be approved as suggested by my work immigration lawyer? According them the only option is move back to previous I140 role if the employer still willing to offer it and authorize it. Please advise my options
