VAC appointment before the interview - Documents required

Hi,

     I reckon that this is for getting the photographs taken and finger prints recorded. This is prior to the actual Visa interview.

What are the documents required for this appointment ? I understand that only photographs will be taken and finger prints recorded during this phase prior to

the interview. Is that right ? Simple procedure ?

My specific question is this. When do I need to show the original I-797 approval notice ? Should I show it for the VAC procedure or the actual

interview ? I have an electronic copy now.
