A week ago, my employer has filed for I-485 (both for my wife and me). However, we made plans to move to a different state at the beginning of the year. I will be working for the same employer and same job responsibilities but in a new location. Given this situation, I have a few questions:

  1. Can I move to a new state once I get my EAD [OR] do I need to wait until 180 days after the I-485 filing date?
  2. What additional documentation does USCIS require here (I-485J)?
  3. Will it cause any delays with GC processing?
  4. If I move to a new location, do you recommend that I still work on H-1B?

Thank you so much! Appreciate your responses.
