Change of Citizenship

Recommended Posts

Hello All! I got my H-1B stamped in my Indian Passport in New Delhi in March 2009. After that I worked in USA for about one year and left USA. Since than, I have not enetred USA on any type of visa. Now I am Australian citizen. I have surrendered my Indian passport and hold OCI status.

My question is : What will happen to my H-1B. Can I still use it or I am missing something. Please tell.

Thanks

The visa stays valid. Just travel with the new passport and the old passport with the valid visa.

That's only possible if the passports were from the same country and of the same type. They would need a new visa if they want to use it with a passport from a different country.
