Ramch123
We have a situation where wife and kid are in the US, spouse is working in another country. Spouse has been asked to undergo a medical treatment. While spouse is getting treated outside US, it is necessary for spouse to take rest and be looked after, does this situation qualify visitor visa under medical grounds? In this situation, spouse is not getting treated in the US, so it would not qualify for medical urgency based expedited visitor visa. Wondering if any one approached for visitor visa with this type of situation for expedited visa request! Quote Link to comment
JoeF
No, that's not a reason to get a visa on medical grounds. Getting rest is not a medical issue. The travel actually would be detrimental to the "getting rest" advice. Edited December 8, 2021 by JoeF Quote Link to comment
