DV - Final restraining order in NJ / H1B/ PERM 140 application

Hi:

My ex-gf filed cyber harassment DV criminal complaint against me with a Temporary restraining order. 

Anyone has facing the final restraining order previously? 

I heard it will be fingerprinted, which affect H1B visa, and potential PERM 140 application.

No

it is cyber-harassment and harassment

no criminal summon, only FRO

As long as you are not violating the harassment order, you are not in trouble. Dont violate the order at any cost. No phone, no emails or no third parties

So basically I need to attend the FRO hearing at the Family court. -> I will get finger printing and photographed.

There is no criminal charge against me, I'm not arrested, no criminal conviction.

 

But I still worried about the consequence of fingerprinting.  The final restraining order is called a Domestic Violence Restraining Order, although it is civil in nature.
