Srikrish Posted November 8, 2021 Report Share Posted November 8, 2021 Hello, My Priority date for GC is current effective July 2021 in EB2 category. I'm currently outside the US. My I140 was filed for Adjustment of status. Can I file I-824 now, for changing the AOS to Consular Processing ? Does NVC process it in priority as my date is current or do they still take their own time. ? Will i lose my Visa number if the NVC takes too long to approve the I-824 application since my priority is already current ? Or will my Visa number still remain active even after 1 year of it being current once i submit the I-824 application ? Quote Link to comment
