PraveenKumar2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Report Share Posted November 1, 2021 I am a L1B visa holder currently employed in US. I got selected in the second H1B lottery conducted in July 2021. UCICS says that the petition needs to be submitted before Nov 3. So if the petition was successfully submitted before Nov 3, and is hopefully approved without issues, when would my actual H1B start date be? So I could plan the dates to serve the notice period (2 weeks) with my current employer and have a smooth transition from my old employer to new employer. Please guide me in understanding the possible scenarios and options I have in this case. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
