H4 194 extension during port of entry

Hi All,

Can we get H4 194 extension based on recent H1B approval notice at port of entry and apply for H4 EAD. 

Here is my case my wife has valid stamping Till March 22 and I recently got H1 extension in premium procession. I have not applied for H4 extension during my H1 extension. so now can my wife travel outside US and get 194 based on my latest H1 copy. Can we apply for H4 EAD renewal with the updated 194.
