spartan_kay Posted October 25, 2021 Report Share Posted October 25, 2021 I-485 applied, both got EAD/AP. I am primary applicant. Waiting for Medical RFE. I have valid US visa, wife doesn't. 1) Is it okay to travel to India while my I-485 is in processing ? Will this cause any issues with my application?I have a valid US visa till Feb 2022. My wife doesn't and in the current scenario (lack of date availability, duration of our stay which is 2 weeks) I don't think we can get Visa stamping for her in India.2) I am on H1 and she is on H4. Can I use my US visa at the Port of Entry and can she use her AP while entering the US ? Does this mean that we are switching over to EAD ?3) While I am in India, what if there is a RFE for Medicals or a call for an interview ? Regarding Medicals right before I leave can I get my Medicals done and mail a copy over to the attorney's office. Not sure how to handle the interview ? Quote Link to comment
