Can I add Spouse to my GC application , in between process from EAD approved stage to GC approval. As my PD is current , If I GC approved what are my options to bring spouse to US. pontevecchio
You cannot add her to the I-140. If she is here and the dates are current, she can file for AOS. F2A for the spouse of a GC holder is current, has been current and is likely to be current which means a wait of some months for consular processing after Marriage if you have got the GC by then. JoeF
A spouse is never added to a GC application. If you get the GC before marriage you can sponsor your spouse in the Family 2A category, which is current right now. If you marry before you get the GC your spouse can use the well-known follow-to-join process to get a GC through Consular Processing. Discuss your situation with your immigration lawyer.
