mynameisram Posted August 26, 2021 Report Posted August 26, 2021 I have a question that I would like some help with, from the community ––I got my previous H4 stamped in India in 2019 and entered the US based on that Visa. I was on an H4 visa until last October. I got my H1B last year and switched to H1B in October 2020 but never got stamping yet. I had to travel to India for a Family emergency in April 2021. Now, I need to get stamping before entering the USA. I would like to switch back to H4 due to personnel reasons. Can I apply for a dropbox interview since my last stamping on my passport was H4 or should I go in for a regular in-person VISA interview? Also, would there be any concerns because I would have an H1B visa approved, been on it for some time, but never got a stamping for it? Quote
