gap in passport validity - new passport issue date 2 weeks after old passport expiry

Hello All:
[H1B status]

I am genuinely worried about my case - 

My old passport's expiry date is July 29, 2021 I am not sure if my new passport will be renewed in time. if suppose my new passport's issue date is August 13, 2021, I will be with an invalid passport for ~2 weeks.

Will this affect my H1b status?
For example- will I lose my status because I failed to maintain a valid passport?

(Please help with confirmed answers only, as I am extremely worried about this and am not able to find the exact info anywhere online.)

First- how are you guessing your passport's future issue date?

call the authority who issues/renews your passport and clear the confusion...your speculations does not have to go till h1b status.
