shama2387
Hi Guys - I would be appearing for my H4 visa stamping shortly. I am in the process of filling out the DS 160 online application. I would be travelling and my Husband (H1b) would be in the US during my travel period. Hence, wanted to know whom should I put as the "principal applicant" in the DS 160 form. Should it be myself because I would be appearing by myself or should it have to be my husband as he is the H1b holder. Your assistance with this is highly appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment
pappu07
It would be H1B holder . In your case, your husband. Link to comment
SameerH1Bworker
I think its just you. So, your name should be printed. Link to comment
Transformer
Depends on which section of the DS160 you are in. If you can provide more details, probably we can help. Link to comment
shama2387
Hi all tks for taking time & replying. DS 160 - Travel Information section is what I am wondering about. When I goto VFS website to make the appointment, it asks for the same question but from the drop down menu it is apparent that the principal applicant is the H1B holder i.e my husband as H4 was not even listed. Pls let me know your thoughts. Thanks! Link to comment
