Sudhasekhar
Hi MLF, I am on a H1B visa currently valid till next year. I recently travelled to India because of a COVID emergency in my family. I am currently stuck in India because the U.S. government has issued a travel ban from India into the U.S. I have been checking the updates on the same. What are my options to get back as soon as possible because my employment is at stake come July. Me and my family tested covid negative and are ready to travel anytime. What are the laws related to this in the covid situation with respect to my employer. thank you. Quote Link to comment

How some one on public forum know particulars of your employer?? Only you would know this. Keep in touch with employer HR and their immigration team-> only they can provide you authentic and legitimate advise. Keep checking, having double vaccination (with an actual vaccine and acceptable documentation) might increase traveler's chances when travel ban changes. Rishikesh
You may travel to a 3rd country which is not banned by the USA and quarantine there for 14 days. Once that is over you can travel to USA. I know people have done this at Nepal, but any other country may work, if you have visa of that country or check for travel on arrival visa countries. This will work if you have a valid US visa stamp, if not then you have to wait in India for consulates to resume their services. Quote Link to comment
