Chirag P Posted May 10, 2021 Report Share Posted May 10, 2021 I changed my employer (H1b transfer) and had new i797 valid till Oct 2021, after that I went to India in Jan 2019, while traveling back from India the CBP officer stamped passport with the old i797 date (Oct 2020) and updated the i94 with the same date Oct 2020(instead of Oct 2021). Currently its time to file H1b extension and now the i94 online shows Admit until date: Oct 2020. What can be done in this case? How can we correct i94 to Oct 2021? Please guide me.
