Can H4 Stamp Holder Still enter USA on older stamp, after H1B is renewed

Hi,

I am on an H1B, my wife is on H4.

My wife is taking care of her parents in India until May 8. My company is filing an H1B extension. We have two routes
1.) File both together once She comes back to the states. The H4 part is taking very long these days.

2.) File H1B right away, Let her get a new stamp through a Dropbox appointment.

My question is mainly for route (2). She has a stamp based on my current H1B until 30 Sept 2021. If I get my H1B renewed, can she still enter the states with that stamp (she will have my current and new I797). We are planning to get her a new stamp while she is in India, but in case there are delays, or any embassy closures or we are unable to secure an appointment; can, as a contingency, she still enter the states based on the current H4 stamp and then file H4 extension here.
