H1b transfer approved but want to join new company after travel back from india

Here is the Situation

My h1b transfer is approved for company-B. I want to leave my current company-A, Travel to India for 2 weeks and come back and join company-B.

is it allowed ? any implication at the POE at SF while coming back ?

You should be able to travel to India for 2 weeks and come back and join company-B.  You will need a POE (port of entry) letter for showing at immigrations on your way back.  Check and see which employer is willing to give you this letter.  You also need your original H1b approval to get your I-94.  Hope your passport has enough validity to accommodate the expiry date mentioned on the H1b approval notice.  Check online to see what other documents are needed at POE.

2 weeks good... new  H1B approavl along with letter of employment verification..passport with valid visa stamped
