rubixcuber
Hi All, I was impacted in my company but I found another job with another employer who is transferring my H1B however the start date with new client is very close to the end of the grace period. My question is - 1. Is it required to start with the new client and run the payroll within the 60day grace period? 2. or just H1B transfer application is necessary within the 60 days and and payroll can start after(which means start date with client is later)? 3. Would it cause any issues later with GC process if this doesn't happen correctly? Based on this i need to negotiate with the client to move the start date earlier. thanks in advance. Zodiac System
The LCA as well as the purchase order/statement of work (from your client) included in your transfer petition will mention your start date. It is advisable to start with the new client within the 60 day grace period. Edited March 26, 2021 by Zodiac System Quote Link to comment
