Can i proceed bimoetric appointment for EAD with out Original indian passport as it is in processing with Indian Embassy for a Date Of Birth Correction?

As my Date of Birth was not correct on my passport due to a human error many years ago. I had submitted it for Indian embassy and is still waiting since more than 3 months.

Should i request for a reschedule or else can i go for biometric appointment for EAD with out Original Indian passport as it is in processing with Indian Embassy for a Date Of Birth Correction? All the other documents like license currently do not have my current DOB which was provided in my EAD application.
