Am I eligible for H drop box?? Please assist!!

I hold a H1B and my wife has a H4. Our previous stamp expired in November 2019 and we received our extension (I-797) till November 2022 at the same time.

We'd like to visit India during May 2021, are we eligible for drop box under the current 2 YEAR DROP BOX EXTENSION?

What if the 2 year drop box extension gets revoked after March 31st when the current proclamation ends on March 31st?

Its been ~15 months since our stamp expired at this point so are we I eligible for drop box FOR 9 MORE MONTHS. 

I have been reading various forums etc. but haven been able to gather authentic guidance on Drop Box eligibility. Please advise.

I think 24 months(as opposed to 12 months) drop box eligibility will end on March 31st 2021 as far as I remember.  So if you go in May 2021, then you might be ineligible unless they extend the 24 month rule.
