My DS-2019 gets annual extension as per institutional policies and I have my current DS-2019 is valid till august 2021 which leaves just a window of 8 months before my VISA expires. I want to start NORI from india before hand but I am not sure if applying or getting NORI before my final DS-2019 extension will hamper the chances of new DS-2019 release?
