saleena Posted February 1, 2021 Report Share Posted February 1, 2021 Hi, our (me and two kids) h4 extension were filed along with my husbands h1b extension which was expiring by dec 31 2020. H1b extension got approved in premium, and by the time our h4 extension applications were picked up by uscis, our visa were already expired and because of a small signature issue, our cases were returned back to attorneys without even accepting or creating a case number which made us out of status. attorneys re filed the applications, but asking us to leave country and re enter by end of jun (180 days from visa expiry) considering with the current timelines for h4 extension, we will not be getting approval within 180 days. what are the options we have rather than travelling back to india, and try to get appointment at a consulate during this time and get back to US before school starts again. please help Quote Link to comment
