Is it possible to use unused, unstamped, approved H1B visa from 10 years back now? I have an approved I140 through my L1 visa

Recommended Posts

1. I have an approved H1B visa from 2010. Never went for stamping though.
2. Came to US in 2015 on L1 Visa. Processed for Green card and got I140 approved petition.

3. Right now, I lost my job and I am on H4 Visa since June 2020.

4. Can I use my Approved H1B + I140 approval to work on H1B Visa now and get 3 years extension?
Please advice. Thanks

I also want to ask same question. My H1B was expired in 2014 and left with 2 months for recapture. Now i am on L1A with my current employer applying for I 140. can you please let me know if i can apply for H1B recapture by a new employer with an approved I 140 ?.

2019 new federal rule confirmed by DHS @  to recapture the unused H1B during any time.
