watingForGC Posted December 30, 2020 Report Share Posted December 30, 2020 I am on GC and eligible to apply for citizenship, however I had a DUI a few years back and was on probation for an year. How long should I wait before applying for citizenship? I have heard you should wait 5 years. Should the 5 years be from the time the DUI incident happened, or from the time my probation ended?
