Canadian Spouse H4 visa expiring in one week

My H1 extension was filed under premium processing. I will get the receipt # in a day or two. My spouse H4 is expiring on sep 30. She is a canadian citizen,

Should she travel back to canada and come back after my h1 is approved,

or can she stay in usa and go to the Port of entry once i get my h1 approved.

Can POE deny her the extension because she over stayed her visa for few days.

Please advise
