krisjana
Hi All , Thank you very much in advance for your help. I was on H1B for nearly 5 years 8 months . Meaning i have 4 months left to complete my 6 years of quota. I am currently in India since 12 months. more than 365 days i am outside of US . Will my clock be reset to another 6 years or do i have to apply for new H1B under new quota or using lottery system. I am working for different company and if they file L1 will that be another 6 years . I have valid 140 can i use to file H1b being outside of US , as i heard we can only use 140 based extension within US. Thank you very every one . Jana Quote Link to comment
chassmebu
I have a similar question, but my case is slightly different. I was out of the US for 13 months from Feb 2020 to March 2021. I have an approved I-140 and subsequently, I was on multiple H1b extensions (from 2010 - 2020). I am wondering if I am still cap-exempt or do I have to go through lottery again. Please share if you hear anything. best Quote Link to comment
