DollyUSVisa
My Ex-employer filed my GC in the EB3 category 10 years ago in the US. Next year I moved to Canada and have been staying here since. Recently I got an invitation from NVC to pay fees for Consular processing. Wondering if I still need my Ex-employer ( Petitioner) for Consular Processing as they do not have any position to rehire me at this time. Can I continue for my Consular Processing without needing my ex-employer? If no, what is needed from them? Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio
CP needs the job offer from the original sponsor. Quote Link to comment
JoeF
For Consular Processing you need a new, notarized job offer from the original employer who filed the I-140. Quote Link to comment
adarshmittal
I am in the same boat, except I in India since last 3 months and apply from here. In My case EB2I date of filing is current. How did NVC contact you since you are not in the USA? How did you update your foreign address with NVC or USCIS? I have not been contacted & trying to figure out how to trigger this? guess form I-824 is needed. Quote Link to comment
Vkt
Would like to know how did you get notice from NVC? Did you submit any form while moving out of US? Quote Link to comment
Startup_Engineer
Hello, Did you learn anything about your case? I am in the same situation. Please let me know. I am also in Canada and received the NVC letter to pay the fee. Quote Link to comment
