H1BUser24 Posted September 27, 2020 Report Posted September 27, 2020 Hello, I switched to a new employer couple of months ago who has not initiated my PERM process yet, they may start PERM process as early as late 2020 or early 2021. I had my I-140 approved through my previous employer with priority date 2012. I see the EB2 priority date advanced to May-2011 and EB3 to 2015. I would like to know what are my options here. I believe I will have to wait for new employer to file the PERM and wait for 8-12 months to get PERM/I-140 approved. Would it be advisable to file PERM in EB2 or should I go for EB3? Thanks! Quote
