Naveeen Posted September 27, 2020 Report Posted September 27, 2020 Hi, I'm an Indian citizen living in USA since 2017 on L1 visa with I-140 approved. I was born in a village in India in 1981. My passport has a different birth place than the actual village i was born in. This might have happened as then just Class 10 marks card (School leaving certificate) was enough as a proof. Now that my employer is considering applying for I-485, i'm concerned if this difference in birth place can be an issue? If so what are my options and what implications will this have on my GC process? Kindly provide me your valuable suggestions.. Thanks, Nav Quote
