CURIOUS1235648 Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 Hello, I have finally landed into my dreamjob but my current employer is unwilling to share approved i140. Finally they are now willing to share my i140 approval without the receipt number, I have applied for one at FOIA but I am sure it takes months for them to process. So what are my options here? Quote
Zodiac System Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 (edited) I-140 is tied to the employer and job offer, it therefore cannot be transferred. Your current employer can file for your I-140. You can have multiple I-140 with multiple employers. Let's see what other experts advise. Edited September 4, 2020 by Zodiac System Quote
gopalakrishnach Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 They will not share original copy of I140. They will share only copies of I140 mostly for visa interview purpose. Quote
