Hi, my H1B extension denied recently, and i94 expired in may. Due to covid symptoms, I couldnt travel to my country. I am planning to file h1b transfer through another employer. Will it work at this time? Is it legally possible? Kindly suggest

Apply for an MTR (I think you have 30 day time period) and if it is accepted and your case re-opened, you may be able to transfer to another employer, BUT do not forget to withdraw this previous H1b.  Denials do not look good on your immigration records.  How about your I-94 is it current?

Lets see what other experts say.
