KumarH1BUSA Posted August 23, 2020 Report Posted August 23, 2020 Friends, I would be grateful if anyone can answer below Query My friend H4 extension is applied in the month of March and its still pending(I94 is just expired and H4 extension is pending), and also he applied H1B in 2020-2021 CAP subject petition and its Approved yesterday and its going to take effective from OCT 2020(COS H4 -->H1B) Lets say H4 Extension is Approved Next month (Sept), still H1B is valid from OCT 1st ? or we should withdraw the H4 extension now ? if we withdraw the extension now on what status he can stay in US till H1B gets effective from OCT1 2020?
