H4 COS Information

Dear Sir/Madam

Could you please suggest me how can I proceed on H4 status change as mentioned below.

•  I am on H1 status with validity till 15Jan2021 and my wife on H4 status with same validity.
• Since our status is due in six months we applied for H1 and H4 extensions in 1st week of July2020 and have the receipts in 3rd week of July2020.
• We applied for H1 for my wife in 2019 which is picked in lottery and approved now with extended I94 under classification of H1.
• We applied for H4 extension along with my H1 extension, because of my spouse H1 is under RFE and because of uncertainty of her H1 visa to be approve.
• Though my spouse H1 is approved, we want her status change to H4 due to some reasons.

Please suggest what are the options I have now,

• Is the H4 extension we already filed in 1st week of July is sufficient?  or,
• Do we need to amend the petition from H1 to H4 again?
