Nanu1409
Hi, I am a software developer currently working at NY and my H1b visa is about to expire and my company is about to file my extension in coming weeks. I recently got married and I am thinking about moving to MA where my wife resides and we are thinking of having 2 work locations - primary being my office location in NY and secondary being my home address in MA. My employer said that is the best option. Will there be a risk in approval if I have multiple work locations? Will the case be scrutinized? We are going to have 2 LCAs, one each for location stated in application. Any thoughts or advise? Thanks Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Will there be a risk in approval if I have multiple work locations? -- approval depends on your and employer profile and about you work genunity. I do not feel multiple work locations will be ONLY reason it depends on. Will the case be scrutinized? - I am sorry we did not have any magical formula so far to predict future. Any thoughts or advise? -- Your employer must guide you. Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
Your LCA should have two locations mentioned on it. Will the client letter be able to mention that you are allowed to work from MA at times, when needed? That will help. If an RFE is issued, your company attorney should be able to handle it.
