Late H1B petition | Application was picked in the 1st lottery

Hi All,

My application was picked in the 1st lottery and I lost my project due to COVID-19 because of which my employer was unable to file the petition. I can get a letter from the client stating the same. Also, I have got a new project now. I thought since this was a special circumstance as I had lost my project due to COVID-19, USCIS might have extended the filing date or just considering the late petitions. But I'm still looking for any news where they're accepting if my admission is still valid. If anyone can provide some input in this situation. It will be of great help.

If the project is gone the H1 is gone.

Discuss with your employer. I feel sinc your project is gone your picked up H1B is gone.
