gaurav.dhingra2222 Posted August 17, 2020 Report Posted August 17, 2020 (edited) Hi, Below is my case and I need some help My company had lay offs due to pandemic and I am affected and my last working day was Aug14th. I am on H1B and my current visa expires Oct 3rd and also have an approved I-140. My company had let me know one month ago this information ( July15th) that August 14th would be my last working day. So I applied for H4 and H4EAD through my wife's employer. Now i do understand that between now and Oct3rd if i get a job and employer sponsers an H1B transfer I am good to go. But what happens after OCt3rd? I would not be out of status as the application for H4 is already filled but if i find a job after Oct3rd, can an employer file for H1B and revive my expired H1B?
