H1B - Upgrade to Premuim Processing, what is needed?

Hey Guys,

Quick question, I am planning to upgrade my already pending H1B extension to premium processing. Besides I-907 and the payment check, is there anything else needed (cover letter or something like that)? And the most important question: 🙂 Can I (the applicant) pay the premium processing fee by writing my own personal check?

Beneficiary could pay the premium, but to apply it will go thru the attorney.

Can I (the applicant) pay the premium processing fee by writing my own personal check? ---- H1B petition is not yours it is petitioner's means it belongs to Employer's. They need to do everything. You cannot upgrade on your own to premium processing. Work with your employer on this.

Yes you can pay PP fees. what you need is form i907 and receipt number of your petition. attorney has to upgrade you can not do it..

Your employer will also be able to upgrade it.   Company's HR department has to send to USCIS (same address as mentioned in the receipt notice: 

1) Cover letter

2) H1b Receipt Notice

3) Form I-907

4) Check for $1440

5) Current paystub.
