lshiv Posted July 28, 2020 Report Posted July 28, 2020 My daughter is maxing out on H4 on Aug 5, 2020 (turning 21). We had applied for H4 to F1 change of status before April. The case is still in 'Received' status. I read about bridge the gap. Can someone guide what application is this? Is this I539? If yes, should we apply another I539 to request extension of current H4 status (is it possible as she is maxing out) or should we apply for a change of status to B2 or is there any other visa category that will allow her to continue her study?
