Proactively submit expired I-693?

I am waiting for my adjustment of status (I-485) since 2012 under EB2/EB3 and have submitted 3 I-693 medical exams, the last one in 2017 (and so expired). I have completed all other formalities like interview and fingerprinting in 2012, and so the expired I-693 is the only outstanding document pending. My EB3 date is becoming current again in August, but I have not received any RFE for another I-693 so far. Can I proactively submit a fresh I-693 documentation without waiting for an RFE? Would it hurt if I did so? My fear is that the dates will regress if I keep waiting for an RFE. Any guidance is appreciated.
