Joining 2+ months after H1-b is approved

Hi,

My extension for Company A was denied in Feb 2020. Company A refiled my extension in March 2020 before my I94 expired on March 25th. Meanwhile, I got an offer from Company B who filed for my transfer before my I94 expired.

Company B's petition got an RFE and they responded to the RFE. The H1-B transfer petition was approved on 2nd May 2020 but I couldn't join company B as their client was not onboarding any new recruit due to COVID. Hence I joined them on 16th July 2020.

Is there any issue for joining after 2 months of H1-B approval. I read somewhere that we are supposed to join within 2 months.

After H1 approval, you have 60 days to report to work for the employer. After that the employer has to start paying you (even if you are not working there yet) or he has to revoke the H1.

I read somewhere that employer must onboard employee by 60 days else after that employer must pay employee.
