sandra123
I am currently on H1B and my contract with current client is ending on July 31st. But I have visa validity till Sep 30, 2020. My employer is saying they will send withdrawal notice the next working day(Aug 3rd) to USCIS. If my employer finds any new opportunity during this 60 days they will reactivate the H1B. I have few questions - 1. If my employer sends withdrawal notice and if I find another employer to transfer my H1B within 60 days, Can I join them on receipt notice or will I have to wait for approval notice. 2. Is there any restriction like I need to travel outside USA once I find new employer for H1B transfer during this 60 day grace period or I can do it while in USA. 3. My spouse is currently working on H4EAD (validity till Sep 30). Can she work once my current employer sends withdrawal notice to USCIS and when I am in 60 days grace period. Thank you in advance. gopalakrishnach
I feel your I94 is valid. I feel there is not concept of reactivation. I maybe wrong. 1. You can join on USCIS receipt notice. 2. You can do while in USA. 3. Not sure about this. I feel she cannot but let experts answer this. Quote Link to comment
User099
1. You can start working on Receipt notice 2. You don't need to leave US if the petition is filed within the grace period. 3. She can work while you are on grace period. Quote Link to comment
