H1-B Extension Pending - RFE- I94 About to expire.

Hi,

H1-B Extension applied At Texas in April, upgraded to premium in June 1st week, RFE issued last week of June.Answered RFE in 1st Week of July.No response yet other than received RFE.

Planning to retract existing extension and applying new extension in regular processing with only a day left on I94 expiration.

 

Anyone in the same boat?

 

Also, employer says we can postmark date and send it after  I94 expiry date.

 

Please shed some light on your experience.

Did anything changed in your profile? why new petition.

Since you have H1B petition with USCIS you can stay in USA after I94 expiry and also can work for 240 days after that you can stay but cannot work.

I might have understood your case different.

You posted this on July 20 with one day left for your I94 to expire.  Just curious what decision did your employer finally take?
