mcool Posted July 17, 2020 Report Posted July 17, 2020 Does anyone one know if the exceptions posted on Department of State website yesterday (https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/exceptions-to-p-p-10014-10052-suspending-entry-of-immigrants-non-immigrants-presenting-risk-to-us-labor-market-during-economic-recovery.html) apply to H1B visa who are spouses of some one already exempt? My spouse is currently in U.S on H1B (and exempt from the proclamations), but I was affected by the proclamation as i'm waiting for my H1B visa stamp (even though i got an approved H1B petition/I-797). I was wondering if the exception clause 'spouses and children of certain visa class holders, such as H, J, and L visa holders who are already excepted from, or not subject to, P.P. 10052. ' applies to me or not? Any help/pointers is appreciated. Thanks in advance Quote
gopalakrishnach Posted July 20, 2020 Report Posted July 20, 2020 Since you have H1B .. I feel that will not apply to you. Quote
