H1B visa not stamped. Can I start work if my transfer is under consular processing?

Old employer H1B visa expration date: 06/28/2022. My H1B was not stamped yet.

Can someone please advise what all options I have if my H1B Transfer with my new employer is under consular processing and approved as I797-B. As I cannot travel outside the USA and get my visa stamped now, what are the options?

Can I not start work until the H1B Transfer I797-B is stamped? Is there anything else I can do without travelling outside the county and start work?

Did you ever had any visa satmped or did you start your H1B clock ?

Is there anything else I can do without travelling outside the county and start work? If you employer allows work from India  you can do. You need pay taxes in India and also in USA.
