MarcHorst Posted July 16, 2020 Report Posted July 16, 2020 Currently living in The Netherlands and aplying for IT jobs in USA (Dallas area). What are my H1B possibilities/chances IF I get hired for a US job? Currently 100% impossible due to covid19? Or are there possible exceptions or methods to live/work in the US? Quote
gopalakrishnach Posted July 17, 2020 Report Posted July 17, 2020 You did not tell whether you had any prior H1B approval. If not, first you need to find a job in USA and the employer must submit H1B petition in lottery next year and get it approved. Later you need to get visa stamped and come to USA and start working. If yes, first you need to find a job in USA and the employer must submit H1B petition anytime in the year and get it approved. Later you need to get visa stamped and come to USA and start working. Currently 100% impossible due to covid19? -- YES Or are there possible exceptions or methods to live/work in the US? --- NOPE. H1B and L1 are only legal way to work/live/earn money in USA as far as I know Quote
poojB Posted July 17, 2020 Report Posted July 17, 2020 Next Visa lottery will be April 2021 with possible start date of Oct 2021. Quote
